Who we are
Amir is the founder of Galleria De Noor, whose creative journey began in Tehran, Iran, before he moved to the United States at the age of eighteen. Raised in an environment that fostered a deep appreciation for woodworking, Amir's early years were marked by a passion for artistry and craftsmanship. This passion led him to create intricate wooden art pieces from a young age.
In pursuit of academic excellence, Amir earned a master's degree in electrical engineering upon settling in the U.S. He has since established himself as a senior protection and control engineer at a prominent utility company in Atlanta, Georgia. Despite his demanding professional commitments, Amir's dedication to art has remained unwavering, with his distinctive country-style woodworking gaining acclaim at numerous art and crafts exhibitions across Georgia.
As the 1990s unfolded, Amir's artistic evolution saw him gravitating towards modern furniture and contemporary art, alongside rediscovering his affinity for pen and ink drawings. In 2005, he ventured into photography, specializing in family portraits and wedding photography for over 15 years.
Amir's current artistic focus lies in modern acrylic pouring and mixed media, blending acrylic paint with resin to create dynamic works of art. Inspired by Persian poetry, calligraphy, and occasionally political themes, Amir strives to create bespoke pieces tailored to his clients' color preferences. His recent venture into furniture restoration has further expanded his repertoire, transforming old pieces into stunning new artworks.
Driven by a desire to establish himself as a contemporary artist, Amir continues to push the boundaries of his creativity, infusing each creation with his unique artistic vision and technical skill.
